Service Technician

Description:Need two people.

Once they go on permanent they will be drivers.Position includes traveling via company truck to customer’s locations to pressure wash & repair rolling racks & carts used by grocery stores.

Experience with wire feed welding helpful, but not required.

Requirements of the job include bending, lifting, pushing, moving equipment, use of power tools.

Work is outside in most weather conditions.A lot of OTPosition includes traveling via company truck to customer’s locations to troubleshoot and repair CartContainment Security Systems, pressure wash & repair rolling racks & carts used by grocery and retail stores.Experience with wire feed welding helpful, but not required.This person must be able to: bend, lif, push, move equipment, use of power tools.

Work well in indoor and outdoor conditions.Ideal candidates would have some type of leadership experience.Must have some Mechanical, Low Voltage and Troubleshooting experience.Dealing with Axis cameras, CATS cabling, routers POE switches, low voltage wiring.The jobs are located in the Northern California; out of town trips will be required.Candidate must be fully adept at managing a service truck and other personnel.

Proficiency in welding required.

Knowledge of various shopping carts, their components and the methodology to properly repair them.

An approved driving record with valid Drivers License and Insurance Company acceptance is mandatory.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESThe duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:TECHNICAL DUTIESDriving between job sites, locally and out of town/state.Welding using standard procedures of safety and proper welding techniques.

Frame welds fully welded, all welds checked for strength, removal of all sharp edges or wires.Steam cleaning using standard procedures of safety and proper steam cleaning techniques.

Cart repair knowledgeUse of power tools in a safe and proper manner.

Use of hand tools in a safe and proper manner.General housekeeping of truck and daily work area.Loading and unloading of parts and waste from truck on daily basis.OTHER DUTIESResponsible for coordinating each daily assignment with supervisor and service crew members.

Responsible for proper work attire, acceptable hygiene and grooming per employee handbook.Completion of service orders and other required paperwork.Supervising all service crew members on job.
