CoWorx Staffing has new opportunities for Service Repair Technicians in Marlborough, MA.

In this role you will perform various tests to ensure that product meet specifications.

Performs a wide variety of routine manufacturing functions in the final testing department of our customer sensor production line.

We are looking for individuals who can help build upon our company reputation of extreme quality, reliability, and performance.

Primary Duties:

  • Electro-mechanical assembly and testing operations on products.
  • The set-up, calibration, testing and troubleshooting of components, instruments, and mechanical assemblies.
  • Assists with in-process tests (such as mechanical testing, hardness, oven profiling, variation) to ensure that batches meet specifications.
  • Perform repair and retest products.
  • Assists in resolving routine manufacturing related problems affecting daily operations.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift to 50 pounds.
  • Previous experience is not required.
  • Candidates with vocational mechanical training or a military mechanical background would be preferred.
  • Must be able to read schematics and blueprints.
  • Must be able to read and communicate in English.
  • Effective interpersonal skills, ability to function as a team member and address conflict constructively.

Job Requirements

  • We encourage current students in advance technical program to apply.
  • Experience
  • Must have a minimum of 5 to 10 years’ experience in a testing / service / troubleshooting / evaluation environment or other related field.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of electronics manufacturing, assembly, and troubleshooting.
  • Hands-on experience using standard electronic test equipment such as Digital Meters, Counters, Oscilloscopes, and custom Automatic Test Equipment.
  • Driven to develop a technical knowledge of products and provide technical assistance to others.
  • Ability to read manufacturing assembly procedures, recognize alpha/numeric data, and complete necessary forms and documentation, including process instructions (routings) and bill of materials (BOM).

Skills:

  • Demonstrated ability to use the PC, including MS Word, Excel, Windows, and SAP.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills, including team-based problem resolutions.
  • Effective interpersonal skills, ability to function as a team member and address conflict constructively.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Good manual dexterity and skill in the use of hand tools
  • Analytical thinker, strong trouble-shooting skills
  • Proficient with technical test equipment, ability to learn quickly.
  • Ability to follow and write written procedures.
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently, with little or no supervision.
  • Thorough, detailed, and accurate
  • Ability to work overtime as needed.
  • Occasional lifting to 50 pounds.
  • Repetitive motion
