Mechanical Engineer to work in the alternative energy field.
The Engineering Manager will be responsible for leading the mechanical design of High Voltage Systems such as Li-ion Batteries and High Voltage Distribution Modules.
Responsibilities: * Leading Mechanical Advanced Battery Design concepts.
* Provide design supervision & follow-through with CAD design engineers.
* Reviewing industry standards, customer requirements and supporting system engineering documentation.
* Project planning & execution follow-up, coordination & day-to-day prioritizing / problem solvingLead design reviews with manufacturing, system engineering, FEA team and customers * Lead mechanical design process & documentation including engineering release activities.
* Work with CAE & CFD team * Support syetem engineering activities and DFMEA, DFM, DVP documentation and reviews.
* Support Supplier sourcing * Support Proposals & Technical documentation * Support Structured mechanical design problem solving & documentation * Support Business development activities Desired Skills and Experience: * M.S in Mechanical Engineering or related field * Experience with Electric Vehicle systems and/or HV batteries design engineering * Good working knowledge of Manufacturing & System Engineering * Excellent teamwork and communication skills Type of position: Full-Time, Permanent Our Benefits Package Includes: Competitive Pay & Bonus Comprehensive Medical Benefits 401K Retirement Plan
