We have an immediate opportunity for a Senior Maintenance Technician
Position Summary:
This position performs day to day maintenance and upkeep on all facilities, grounds and equipment. The primary role is to support the production areas and keep all equipment in safe and good working order. Responsible for assisting in training new associates including all safety, production, quality and administrative functions. It is critical for the overall success of this position to demonstrate professionalism, integrity, honesty, empowerment, and teamwork to achieve expected results.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Performs Duties as assigned by Supervisor.
Education & Experience:
An associates degree in Maintenance or at least 3-5 years experience in a maintenance role or manufacturing environment is required. Familiarity with welding and fabricating equipment coupled with Hydraulics, pneumatics, and PLC’s is a plus.
The successful candidate must demonstrate ability to deal with multiple priorities and deadlines, and the ability to work effectively in a changing work environment. High level of initiative, strong problem solving skills, good judgment, and a demonstrated ability to deal appropriately with mechanical and electrical information as required.
Knowledge skills and abilities necessary for this overall success of this position: Experience with 480 volt 3 phase motors and equipment and low voltage controls is required, able to use a multi-meter to troubleshoot problems. Knowledge of operating a forklift and other material handling equipment is a plus.
