We?re looking to hire a reliable, experienced Security Systems Technician to help support our team.
This position is open to all applicants from within the continental United States.
The electronic security technician’s main job responsibility is to act in the implementation, commissioning, maintenance and repair of electronic security systems on Prosegur customers.?
The technician must be able to work in the security area with regard to hardware and software of the main market systems in the areas of CCTV, access control and intrusion.
In addition, it must be able to analyze, review, study and interpret standards, specifications, technical drawings, plans and projects in the area of electronic security experience.
Responsibilities
Assist with responsibility for the security project once instructed by the SPM.
Technical commission and completing a quality control audit of the new security system with the SPE.
Take photos, and provide reports on installation work onsite, identifying deficiencies, documenting gaps and foreseeing future issues based on past experience.
Ensure that the system complete signal acceptance review and is monitor the required timescales.
Verify and accept the as installed documentation to ensure accuracy.
Understand how to field dress and terminate head end devices (i.e.
ACP, NVR etc).
Identify the requirements for the security system to interface with the site and/or bldg.
system.
Work with other stakeholders to ensure the critical path is not impacted ( i.e.
Door Hardware Schedule, Cable Pathways, Conduit ?
Wall, Door + Frame, and Ceilings)
Structured Cabling Systems and Fiber Optic Cabling.
Understand security devices installations ( i.e.
CRs, Cameras, MD, EAX etc).
Understand EIA/TIA 568 and NEC standards, IT Infrastructure and DOS Commands
Understanding of Electrical Basics, including Ohm?s Law.
Understanding of Construction Projects, Job Safety Training, and is expected to assess site conditions in various phases of construction to anticipate Milestone that are key to success of Security Systems installations
Qualifications

Bachelor of engineering or similar technical area.
?
More than 3 years of experience at Electronic Security System area.
?
Time and travel availability.
?
knowledge in office suite, Microsoft Project and Windows.
?
Speaking Spanish a plus
