At Andis, the Quality Technician is responsible for the inspection, testing , and auditing of manufacturing processes and products and that proper procedures are being followed and documented to maintain product quality and traceability. They will also assist to ensure nonconforming product is appropriately identified and removed from the production flow until such product can be dispositioned.
Position hours are 5:30am-2:00pm.
This role is ideal for entry level technicians looking to advance their career in Quality. At Andis, you own your career path, working closely with your manager to create a development plan to achieve your goals and succeed in your role.
Key job functions include:
Compiling, reporting, and evaluating data to determine and improve upon the quality and reliability of products and processes.
Train production operators in QA measuring procedures.
Supports cross functional engineers in day-to-day manufacturing and production activities, including issues with suppliers.
Cleans, sets-up, tests, verifies, and performs preventative and corrective maintenance on precision measuring instruments.
Draft written procedures for part qualification and precision measuring.
Assist shop personnel, supervisors/managers, and engineers with root cause analysis using 8D/A3 problem solving techniques.
