Your opportunity
We’re looking for a Quality Control Technician I to join our Quality Assurance Team in Aurora, CO. You’ll be responsible for helping to provide products and services that meet or exceed customer expectations and satisfy them by anticipating their needs and requirements. This will be achieved by auditing departments, systems, products and processes. In a fast-paced environment, you will have the opportunity to ensure our customer is at the forefront of every process as the Quality Assurance team strives to continually improve the effectiveness of the Quality Management System.

What you’ll do

• Identify non-conforming material and assure the material is properly handled per the defined quality system procedure. This includes accurately updating the defined tracking system.
• Serve as a resource/trainer for operators and plant personnel with regard to quality assurance matters and other areas of expertise.
• Audit departments, systems, products, and or processes for compliance and conformance to internal and customer requirements.
• Monitors quality system at cells/areas concerning labels, documentation, traceability, first piece samples, etc. for procedural adherence.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.

What you’ll need

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge of basic quality tools(sampling procedures, and 5- Why problem -solving )
• Strong ethics, values, and a positive attitude
• Ability to work in a work environment with minimal supervision.
• Ability to stand, sit and/or walk on a hard surface as well as bend, stoop, and reach for up to 8 hours a day.
