About Job

The Quality Assurance Technician works with the Engineering Department to assure that operators follow the process and procedures in the Repair and Production areas.

The individual will analyze issues reported by customers, maintain records, and implement changes to manufacturing when necessary.

Job Responsibilities
Support maintenance of the QMS system.
Perform audits in facility per QMS standards.
Create customer quality reports as needed.
Creation of quality documentation and development of SOPs as needed.
Proactive review and improvement of QMS systems and processes to ensure the maintenance of ISO standards.
Support engineering during audits.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Education and Ideal Experience
Associates or BS Degree in Engineering or equivalent technical experience and/or military technical training.
1-3 years of experience in a quality role, in a manufacturing environment.
Team leadership experience for cross-functional teams.
Experience with team building and coordinating resources.
Demonstrated excellence working independently and as part of a team to solve difficult technical, business, cost, and schedule challenges.
Self-motivated and results driven.
Strong organization, multi-tasking, time management, and prioritization skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills

Expertise using Microsoft Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
Requirements
Knowledge of the QMS System and ISO requirements.
Must be able to provide professional, clear verbal and written communication.
Must be able to exercise judgment within defined procedures and safety practices to determine appropriate action.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
Team Player with a good altitude and ability to work well with others.
Willing and able to multitask.
Able to lift at least 35lbs.
