As a part of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for the operation of various processing and packaging equipment systems throughout the Baking Mix Department including assisting the production lines to operate at optimal performance (while producing amazing flavors of Betty Crocker baking mixes). Pay Rate$22.58 per hour Shift differential Additional $.34 per hour for hours worked on 2nd shift ($22.92 per hour) Additional $.41 per hour for hours worked on 3rd shift ($22.99 per hour) Schedule: 8-hour shifts 1st shift: 7 am to 2nd shift: 3 pm to 11 pm 3rd shift: 11 pm to 7 am Current shift openings are 2nd and 3rd shift, working 5-6 days per week Ability and willingness to work 4 hours prior to or 4 hours after scheduled shift Ability and willingness to work overtime, any shift, including days, nights, weekends and holidays Plant operation is 24 hours per day, up to 7 days per week Your seat at the table will include: (Duties and Responsibilities) Following all company safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment Leading production lines by supplying materials as needed Performing all sanitation and clean up duties Demonstrating a strong customer service mindset Performing maintenance during bottlenecks or when production lines are shut down Performing startup, changeover and shutdown of operating equipment Responsibility for executing all required HACCP food safety processes and documentation Participating in Continuous Improvement initiatives to increase platform performance Attending meetings and training as required Performing additional related tasks as assigned Leading with and championing human and food safety Your recipe for success must include: (Minimum Qualifications) Must be 18 years of age or older Must have the ongoing right to work in the U.S. without sponsorship High School Diploma or GED 1 or more years of experience in a manufacturing environment Effective written and oral communication skills Proficiency in basic computer skills Must be able to perform physical requirements of position with or without reasonable accommodation Must be able to lift, move, push, pull 50 lbs. as required by the position Must be able to perform physical tasks for extended periods of time including standing, walking, climbing, bending, pushing, pulling, and twisting over surfaces Ability to climb and/or work at heights while utilizing stairs, ladders, personnel lifts, or platforms Willing and able to work any shift schedule, including nights and weekends, daily overtime or overtime outside of your regular scheduled hours as required (more than 40 hours per week) Ability to wear protective clothing and equipment such as safety shoes, face masks, safety glasses, hearing protection, a hard hat, a hair/beard net and gloves when required Willing and able to adhere to all grooming and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) requirements necessary for a food manufacturing environment Willing to work around industrial high-speed moving machinery Ability to work with allergens that might be present in a food environment Reasons you will LOVE working here: Medical, dental, vision Pension 401k and Roth 401k 6% Target Bi-annual Bonus Vacation 13 Paid Holidays Additional Programs and Life Benefits What&039;s Next Due to our automated system and software, please use an active email address when creating your login profile and screen your spam and junk mail, as our emails tend to be placed in those mailboxes.
