Process Technician I

Innophos is seeking a Process Technician for our East Hanover, New Jersey location.

The Process Technician will be responsible for carrying out all jobs in the production process including milling, screening, sampling, blending, wet granulation, and roller compaction.

Key Responsibilities
Ability to follow production GMP s and SOP s
Loading/Unloading of production equipment
Cleaning and maintaining production equipment
Completion of cleaning logs and batch records
Packing of completed material
Teamwork and communication skills
Follows all environmental, health and safety protocols
Proactively attempts to prevent all accidents and eliminate all unsafe conditions
Demonstrates management s commitment to safety
Required Education and Experience
Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
Similar or related experience desired
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, food processing preferred
Understanding of basic math and English reading skills to perform essential functions of the job.
Clear understanding of weights and measurements
Environmental and/or Physical Requirements
Work is performing in the Plant and may require the use of protective clothing & personal devices: Safety shoes, safety glasses, earplugs, mask, goggles, insulated gloves, safety harness, hair net, slicker suit, and self-contained breathing apparatus.
Frequent lifting,( 50 lbs), squatting, standing, bending, walking
