Peterson Trucks: Mobile Diesel Technician

*Idealease, the rental and leasing division of Peterson Trucks, has an immediate need for Mobile Service Technician based at our Portland, OR location.

*The person in the position performs preventative maintenance to rental and leased trucks in the field.

Specific duties include the following:* Perform preventative maintenance on medium and heavy-duty trucks, including changing oil and filters, service greasing, and light mechanical work.* Perform lubrication services including checking and filling fluid levels to O.E.M.

specifications and refueling as requested and supplied by customer.* Inspect trucks for external signs of potential component failure.* Maintain service readiness of lube truck including customer service fluid supplies.* Complete service reports, lube reports, timecards, and other related paperwork for all worked performed.* Provide required tools as designated by company tool list.* Maintain an acceptable driving record, adhering to all DOT requirements including keeping accurate logbooks, service hours and other records as required.A candidate for the opening ideally needs an Associates Degree from a fully accredited college or technical/vocational school in Diesel Technology, Automotive Technology or other closely related field; and a minimum of 3 years of directly related experience in preventative maintenance and service repair of trucks; or an equivalent combination of education and work experience._Peterson Trucks Inc.
