As an Optometric Tech at Eye Contact Vision Center , you will serve as part of our patient heath care team and make a difference in how people see their future supporting our growing network of patients and doctors.
Our practice has 4 office locations.
There are opportunities to grow within the company at each location.

This position may be considered as a float position as well, where the qualified candidate may work at each location throughout the week.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
· Responsible for lab duties that include checking in patient eyeglasses and contact lens orders, notifying patients that product is ready for pickup
· Facilitate contact lens classes with patients and educate on lens and frame options
· Manage patient communication (in-person, phone, email) and appointment scheduling
· Support front desk duties such as check patients in and out and retrieving insurance eligibility
· Maintain a clean medical environment for all visitors and patients Experience & Education
· Requires high school diploma or GED
· Basic math skills and excellent computer skills
· 2 years of customer service, luxury retail and/or hospitality experience preferred
· 1 years of eye care or health care-related experience required
· Must be able to walk, bend and stand for extended periods of time Working Conditions
· Works in a medical eye care practice and retail optical environment.
Requires evenings and Saturday hours (no Sundays).
