Opto-Mechanical Design Engineer

nn Responsibilities: nn Own the design process for opto-mechanical components Go from concept to detailed design, ensuring that requirements are met Excellent understanding of geometric tolerancing Assembly of first articles and testing to ensure requirements are being met.

Create assembly and test procedures, and handoff support to manufacturing Troubleshoot problems during production Execute feasibility tests to accelerate path finding nn n nn nn n nn nn Requirements: nn BS or MS degree in Mechanical Engineering with 5 years of experience Familiarity with Solid works or equivalent modeling software Experience with capital equipment, semiconductor equipment or large optical systems Experience with precision mechanics and micron level tolerances Prior experience in opto-mechanical systems highly desirable Hands-on and independent work style, with excellent organizational and communication skills
