Northwest Roof Service Inc.: Roof Repair Technician

Roof Technician with the ability to:Covers roofs with roofing materials such as composition shingles or sheets, wood shingles, or single ply membranes or torch down to waterproof buildings.

Job duties include, but may not be limited to: Obtaining details and directives regarding the job Driving or traveling to the job site at the designated day and time Unloading all the gear, including garbage barrels, tools and ladders Fastening composition shingles or sheets to roof with asphalt, cement or nails Cutting strips of flashing and fitting them into angles formed by walls, vents and intersecting roof surfaces Removing and properly re-installing all roofing ventilation devises Visually inspecting, assembling and using proper safety equipment such as anchors and tie-downs as warranted Heat welding single ply membranes Torching applications of roofing membranes Overseeing the roofing crew and assigning work tasks Ensuring all workers follow proper safety procedures and company protocol May perform other duties as assigned
