Position DescriptionThe GI Lab Tech provides assistance to the physician & direct care to the adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient.

Also, performs delegated unit tasks as assigned by the Registered Nurse.Position RequirementsREQUIRED: 1.

High School Diploma 2.

Basic Life Support (BLS) 3.

SGNA Associates Program Certificate within 12 months of start date 4.

Minimum one (1) year experience in an acute care related area PREFERRED: 1.

Completion of accredited medical assistant course 2.

CNA/PCT Certification 3.

SGNA Associates Program Certification 4.
