Mechanic / Technician – Lube Field Tech (Kansas City 2nd Shift)

The Role: Our Preventative Maintenance Field Technician (FMP Technician) on 2nd shiftis primarily responsible for providing high quality preventive maintenance on systems with a primary focus on heavy construction services.Job duties:Perform all levels of repair and preventative maintenance on all systemsRepair or replace parts as required within the defined expectations of the task Order replacement parts and services in a manner that promotes efficiency and effectivenessTest and verify correct operation of all maintenance repairs and adjustmentsCommunicate effectively and professionally with customers on their maintenance and repairs.Must be willing to work overtime as required by fluctuating workloads, available for after-hours calls as needed Our Ideal Candidate: Basic mechanical knowledge including mechanical, electrical and hydraulicsGeneral knowledge of basic hand tools, air tools, precision measuring tools and instrumentsUnderstand crane hoist and rigging equipment (preferred)Preferred forklift experienceMust be able to read and comprehend specifications, service and parts literature, technical bulletins and other related publicationsClass A CDL with Tanker endorsementWhat will put you ahead:Experience working within the diesel mechanics industryStable work historyClass A CDL with Tanker endorsementCaterpillar experience a plus Who We Are: Foley Industries
