Mechanic

Penski Staffing a CorTech is a service-oriented staffing/recruiting company dedicated to working closely with our clients. We currently are hiring for installation technicians.

1. Basic Functions: Perform installation, service, inspection, and troubleshooting operations of security, sound, communication, and protection products. Objective: Comprehensive, complete, expert, and professional technical competence across the broad spectrum of operations.

2. Major Duties and Responsibilities:
a) Perform installation, service, inspection, and troubleshooting functions for all operations
b) Perform activities in trainee upgrade training folder
c) Ensure safe execution of duties for yourself and others in your work area
d) Maintain knowledge in all company product lines
i. Security Systems, Access Control, Video Surveillance, Fire Detection, Nurses Call, Phone, Paging, Monitoring
e) Work closely with Operations Coordinator (OC) and Inventory Control Specialist (ICS) to ensure proper Service Order specifics, materials, and equipment are acquired for jobs f) Operate and Maintain company vehicles in safe and efficient manner
i. Properly document inventory items maintained in vehicles
g) Properly document Service Order specifics and provide to OC in timely manner
h) Properly document inventory items used/not used for every Service Order and ensure streamlined and timely communication to ICS
i) Ensure accuracy of Time Cards and deliver to OC in a timely manner
j) Communicate with Shop Technician regarding job-specific requirements
k) Communicate with your supervisor to report purchases, progress, and missteps in the field 1) Perform infrequent clerical & maintenance duties as assigned by Supervisor

3. Job Related Skills:
High School, College-level, or Military technical training required. Strong writing and Information Technology skills. Superior judgment, Superb Organization skills, Microsoft / Tiger Paw proficiency, Strong communication and customer service skills, Technical attention-to-detail, Creative inquisitiveness, Intellectual curiosity, Self-Improvement mentality, Thoughtful/Measured demeanor, Team-oriented personality, Professional ethos.
