Follow good manufacturing practices, personal protective equipment requirements, and safety guidelines.
Perform basic mechanical adjustments like tensioning drive belts, conveyor belts, tracking belts and chains.
Work safely around moving equipment and conveyors in a wet environment.
Perform building mechanical repairs such as overhead door track and panel replacement, concrete work, and chain link repairs.
Perform scheduled and emergency repairs on all equipment and building structures (i.e.

pneumatic, hydraulic, electronic electrical plumbing)
Perform preventive maintenance and other duties as assigned.
What you will need:
At least 1 year of experience and basic mechanical skills
GED/High School Diploma preferred
Willingness and flexibility to work in a cold environment
Mechanical and electrical aptitude
Chain drive sprocket and gearbox
Working knowledge of cleaning and degreasing techniques
Reading, writing, speaking English preferred
Safety guidelines; understand efficiencies and downtime
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
