Job Duties including, but not limited to, the following:

• Install various systems to include, but are not limited to: domestic water, waste & vent, storm, natural gas, compressed air, heating and chilled water piping.

• Maintain tools and/or equipment for the purpose of ensuring the availability of plumbing systems in a safe operating condition.

• Repair/replace various items, systems and/or components (e.g. toilets, sinks, faucets, sewer lines, hangers, water heaters, etc.) for the purpose of ensuring that items are available and in safe working condition that meets or exceed current plumbing codes.

• Installation of various types of piping materials (e.g. cast iron, steel, copper, plastic, stainless steel, etc.).

• Perform system testing and repairs as needed to provide a complete and operational system.

• Transport various items (e.g. tools, equipment, materials, supplies, etc.) to ensure the availability of materials required throughout the job site.

• Communicate with the office and business or homeowners to ensure that jobs are completed accurately and timely.

• Willing and able to be on call for after hours, weekend and/or holiday emergencies or scheduled work.

• Strong commitment to the company policies, and enforce such policies on the job sites and must also take a proactive stance on Safety and report any concerns or violations immediately to management.

Minimum Qualifications include, and are not limited to, the following:

• Must hold a current license in the State of Colorado and must present the license at the time of application. If the applicant has an out of state license, he/she is allowed 30 days by Colorado law to apply for and take the test.

• High School diploma or GED certificate or evidence of experience in a construction-oriented business may substitute on a year-to-year basis for educational requirements.

• Must have strong paperwork skills and have the ability to fill out all business-related information such as timecards, service work order invoices, etc.

Essential physical demands include and are not limited to the following:

• Must be able to safely lift, reach, bend, stoop, kneel, push/pull, walk and stand for continual and extended periods of time. Must be able to safely lift 50–100lbs and over 100lbs on an occasional basis. Must be able to safely lift 50lbs or less on a frequent basis. Must be able to balance and safely use ladders on a frequent basis. Must be able to safely work at heights, overhead or in confined spaces. Must be able to work in both cold and hot conditions. Physical demands listed here are representative of those that must be met by the employee to successfully perform the essential function of the job.

• Must be on time and prepared for the scheduled shift and work the entire shift as scheduled. Must provide their own transportation to and from work. Must report daily absences, tardiness and any verbal warnings to the Supervisor, Human Resources Manager or General Manager for follow-up.

• Have a clear driving record and valid Colorado driver license, in accordance with the company vehicle insurance. JDM Plumbing reserves the right to order DMV or other background check reports at the time of hiring and for the duration of your employment.

• Able to do hands on work and must own required hand tools and use these tools on the job.

• Must be able to read, speak and write English in a competent manner to be able to understand directions, daily duties, and paperwork requirements and to understand and communicate safety.

Pay: $25.00 – $31.00 per hour
