Summary: This position will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of all Production and Facilities equipment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
Troubleshoot and repair conveyors, electrical systems, CNC machinery, pneumatic tools, hydraulic equipment, and various other manufacturing equipment.
Identify faulty equipment through observation and testing metrics.
Identify replacement parts from machine manuals and perform repairs.
Safely operate cranes, power tools, hoists, hand tools and forklifts.
Conduct routine preventative maintenance tasks with the expected goal of finding issues before they cause breakdowns.
Assist with inventory control within the maintenance department.
Keep a clean and organized workspace.
Follow all safety procedures as laid out by the company.
Assist with the improvement of companywide safety policies and practices.
Ability to read and comprehend machine mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic diagrams.
Upload parameter files to servo-drives.
Utilization of our Computerized Maintenance Management Software
Assess existing PM checklists and offer suggestions for improvements or missed tasks that require attention.
Installation of new electrical circuits, compressed air piping, and water piping.
Competencies:
Strong Troubleshooting Skills
Electrical maintenance: 2 years (Preferred)
Mechanical maintenance: 2 years (Preferred)
Familiarity with safety procedures: Lock-Out Tag-Out, Hot work permits, Fall protection, etc.
Strong organizational skills to manage, prioritize, schedule, and balance multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to identify and resolve problems effectively, strong analysis and decision-making skills.
Strong communication skills, strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel

Education/Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or four to six years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have a working knowledge of basic Microsoft software and the ability to document repairs electronically.
