Maintenance Technician

This is a Contract position in Polkville, NC posted February 4, 2021.
Our client located in Shelby, NC is seeking skilled Maintenance Technician for immediate hire. There are current openings across all shifts and pay will range from $25-$27/hr based on experience.
Candidates must have experience with the follow:
- Hands electrical/electronics trouble-shooting experience
- Basic knowledge of machine shop equipment and tools used in a production facility
- Ability to execute troubleshooting process: Identify problem, establish a probable cause, test, implement corrective action, verify fix and document and actions taken
- Ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings and schematics to aid in troubleshooting complex industrial plant equipment
Job Description is below:
- Perform maintenance and repairs for a diverse range of manufacturing plant structures, equipment, systems, and components.
- Candidates must be willing to take ownership of plant equipment reliability.
- Maintenance Technicians will be responsible for maintenance repair and reliability of all plant process AND building (facility) equipment including HVAC, lighting, power distribution, robots, automated guided vehicles (AGVs), plumping and manufacturing equipment process controls (PLCs).
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
- Control wiring experience
- Allen Bradley PLC troubleshooting experience
- Robotic (i.e. FANUC) maintenance repair experience is preferred but not mandatory
- Experience troubleshooting industrial plant device networks
