RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform highly varied tasks to establish and maintain production machines and the plant facility’ s equipment Offer emergency/unscheduled restorations of production equipment and perform scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment throughout machine service Perform basic machinist responsibilities Present mechanic skills including, but not limited to; mechanical, electrical, welding, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and fixing of production machines Begin each shift by executing a walk-through of the entire plant to check on equipment and follow up with operators concerning any problems they might have Convey parts inventory to manager as it is depleted Read and understand equipment manuals and work orders to achieve necessary maintenance and service Identify problems, replace, or repair parts, test and make adjustments Perform routine preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities Offer a variety of plumbing and carpentry functions Produce repair parts by utilizing machine shop instrumentation and equipment Utilize a range of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing tasks Find faulty operations, flawed materials, and report those and any strange situations to appropriate supervision Perform other duties or projects as needed Follow all Health, Safety, and Environmental requirements at all times and alert management of any violations of these rules QUALIFICATIONS: Must have a minimum of a high school diploma/GED Candidates should have minimum 2 years of experience with welding, plumbing, basic electrical (low voltage to 480 VAC, single and 3 phase), and machine repair Must be detail oriented, have the ability to multi-task, and have exceptional follow-up skills Self-motivational personality with outstanding attendance and promptness Capability to execute job duties with a sense of urgency Must be able to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds regularly Requires the ability to stand for long periods of time Must be able to work in an environment that is occasionally hot in the summer Must wear a half-face HEPA filter respirator for periods of time during the workday.

To guarantee a good seal with the respirator, no facial hair is permitted for this position.
