We have a client located in Turtle Creek PA seeking a Maintenance Technician
Position will start on Daylight shift for training then will move into rotating shifts. All candidates MUST be willing to move into rotating shifts.
Job Duties:
– Support efforts in reliable performance of galvanizing line, including all its support equipment for optimum line utilization
– Electrically & mechanically maintain the facility through training and experience
– All Preventive Maintenance program work, updating PM computer system, equipment failure response and troubleshooting
– Assist with Equipment alignment; spares build up, instrument calibration and repair, new equipment installations, electrical, pipefitting, hydraulic, pneumatic, fabrication, welding and mechanical repairs
– Apply electrical, electronic and software skills to solve problems.
– Ability to work on all components of Hot Dip Galvanizing line

– Ability to multitask, excellent organizational skills and excellent communication skills.
– Maintenance Qualified status and competitive score on Maintenance aptitude tests.
– Galvanizing process line knowledge
– Good mechanical & electrical skills
– Ability to read prints and drawings. Ability to use hand tools, torches, grinders, micrometers, calipers and spacer gages. Strong computer skills.
– Previous experience with preventative maintenance, teamwork skills, effective troubleshooting skills, self directed and motivated, good leadership abilities
