Maintenance Planner

Responsibilities: Hiring ImmediatelyEssential (Include, but are not limited to):Purchase maintenance parts and services-taking information supplied in written and oral form from the maintenance dept.

Contacting vendors to purchase materials and contract services.Handle paperwork and data entry related to receiving materials and supplies-receiving raw materials and supplies for other departments.Plan and prepare schedules based on the directions of the Engineering ManagerPlan and prepare schedules based on the directions of the Engineering ManagerDetermine the material and tools/equipment requirementsInsure Maintenance Planning/Scheduling needs are completed, coordinated and communicated within all functional areas including contractor & vendor management.Verify availability of required materials before scheduling work ordersCreate purchase orders for materials and replacement partsTrack status of parts and change status of work schedules based on parts availabilityMaintain and manage preventative maintenance system scheduleMaintain file systemDrive to other facilities or vendors for emergency parts pickupMaintain data entry for maintenance spending/monthly or as requested.Keep maintenance parts inventory current and accurate through physical handling and documentation-keep records up to date.Perform stockroom inventory audits/monthly or as requested.Receive, store and identify parts as needed.Pick up parts at local suppliers as needed.Participate in the team environment of Pactiv.

Help co-workers when they are backed up.Follow all safety policies and procedures.Maintain a clean work area.Must be physically capable to lift 50lbsPerform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: Competencies:Strong electrical and mechanical aptitude with background in reliability.Customer service focusHighly organizedAbility to manage multiple tasks/projects with competing deadlinesStrong communication skills to effectively communicate with personnel of various levelsEducation/Experience:Associates degree or minimum of 3 years experience in manufacturing, equipment maintenance, or materials managementLanguage Skills: Must be able to read and write fluently in EnglishMathematical Skills: Must be extremely accurate with numbers.

Ability to add, subtracts, multiply and divides; use common fractions and decimals.Computer Skills:MS Excel/Access/Word/SAP.Demonstrated experience working with a CMMS such as Maintenance Connection, MP2, Maximo, etc.
