  • Lead the preventive maintenance program by coordinating the scheduling and completion of PMs with the shift coordinators and departments.
  • Extra hours are expected as communication between shifts is critical to the role
  • Coordinates yearly shutdown activities
  • Prepare vendor management scope of work for service visits.

    Work with production colleagues to define scope of work, deliverables, and acceptance criteria for visits.

    Prepare vendor management documents for pre-approval and post approval.

  • Develop detailed work sequences and job plans to execute work.

    Develop prioritization process for work to be scheduled.

  • Develops time fences for planned and scheduled work and maintains key performance indicators to monitor adherence to agree upon schedule and monitor scheduled vs.

    actual hours.

  • Maintain a daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly planning schedule.
  • Prioritize backlogged work to meet business goals.
  • Work with predictive maintenance coordinator to schedule and prioritize predictive work before catastrophic failure
  • Key SME of Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
  • Develop, measure and communicate Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to planning/scheduling activities in order to establish baseline performance to goals and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Provide training, when necessary, on the CMMS
  • Ensure the timely and coordinated availability of parts, materials, special tools, equipment, labor hours and skills required for efficient work execution.
  • Manage the Work Order and PM back log and make necessary changes to maintain baseline back log.
  • Develop PMs for new equipment as required.
  • Lead all pre-planning for all annual PM’s, to include obtaining parts and labor quotes from vendors as required.
  • Run weekly planning scheduling meeting with production to review scheduled vs.

    completed work.

    Attend daily planning scheduling meetings as appropriate.

  • Audit all PM and WOR for completeness and review failure codes, solution codes, and work hours for completeness.
  • Establish system asset hierarchy for equipment
  • Coordinate the calibration programs
  • Identify any safety considerations and communicate through the work orders.
  • Audit completed work orders and PM’s for completion and quality of work.
  • Audit PM tasks as to always maintain a current state (i.e.

    eliminate PMs or tasks for obsolete equipment, change PM tasks to account for modifications or upgrades to equipment, etc.).

  • Assist in yearly budget preparation for services.

Education & Experience Required:

  • GED or High School Diploma.
  • At least 5+ years’ experience in manufacturing.
  • At least 5+ years’ experience in industrial maintenance as a planner / scheduler.
  • Advanced Computer Skills (i.e.

    Microsoft Office) desired

  • Ability to work well with people.
  • Multi-tasked Individual.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Hands on plant equipment troubleshooting and maintenance experience desired.
  • Must have working knowledge and demonstrated skill in the use of a computerized maintenance management system.
  • Excel and data analytics skill set desired
  • Continue education as related to job skills.

  • Carrying: Heavy (40-60 lbs.) occasionally.
