Maintenance Mechanic 2nd and 3rd Shift

Training is provided.As Maintenance Mechanic I, you will:Assist higher level mechanics with duties such as servicing, repairing, adjusting and testing machines, devices, moving parts and equipment that operate primarily based on mechanical not electrical principlesPerform preventative and predictive maintenance on facility machinery to ensure machinery runs at 100% in order to meet day to day production demandsConveyor belt repair and replacementTurn off and lock out tag out equipment when not in useComplete required paperwork (i.e.

maintenance log and repair logs, etc.)Notify Manager or supervisor of any malfunctions or repairs neededNOTE: this description is not intended to be all-inclusive.

Qualifications: Basic Qualifications:Must be 18 years or olderMust be able to work in the United States without visa sponsorshipPerform a variety of specialized tasks in altering environments and the physical requirements of the jobPrevious maintenance experience in a USDA inspected beef, pork, or poultry facilityMust be fluent in English (speaking, reading, and writing)Ability to work extended scheduled hours Monday
– Saturday with daily overtime.

Must be able to work overtime as required.
