This Position is at the Ferry Cap and Set Screw Company located in Lakewood, OH.Ferry Cap and Set Screw has been providing its customers with the highest quality specialty fasteners for over 100 years.

What You’ll Do As a Maintenance and Reliability Engineer, you’ll be part of our Engineered Fastening team located in Elyria, OH.

You’ll get to: Schedule the machine repair and maintenance departments for planned repairs.

Provide technical engineering for the determination of equipment failures and establishing of appropriate maintenance procedures in order to improve equipment reliability.

Work on automated processes of existing equipment as well as new processes Assist in the planning of equipment outages, planned rebuilds and replacement of equipment.

Review and establish preventative maintenance procedures and technical instructions.

Work with SBD industry 4.0 on the automation of process and give advice for improvement.

Diagnose mechanical/electronic plc/pc faults and coordinate and/or carry out repairs.

Implement long term engineering solutions to prevent downtime and support the company’s KPI’s.

Contribute to site capital investment projects Propose improvements in components and run strategies for lower costs of maintenance.

You also have: A 4-year Engineering degree is required.

A Mechanical Engineering degree is preferred Minimum of 5 years’ experience in maintenance or reliability engineering Basic knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and compressed air as they relate to manufacturing.

Computer skills including MS Excel and AutoCAD.
