Maintenance

Located in Minden – Maintenance Assistant – Pay is $18 plus depending on experience. Shift: First Shift (6:00 am to 2:30 pm, Monday – Friday) The Maintenance Assistant will be responsible for routine maintenance of equipment and machinery as well as building and ground maintenance. The Maintenance Assistant will have a daily routine as well as take direction from the Head of Maintenance.Duties and Responsibilities: Correctly read and use varying, measuring devices (tape measures, calipers, etc). Perform industrial truck maintenance, Operate industrial trucks and scissor lifts. Change light bulbs and fixtures. Read and interpret owner/maintenance manuals. Perform air compressor maintenance and repair. Maintain pallet racking, Light carpentry. Light electrical (changing light bulbs and electrical fixtures). Light mechanical (change seals in cylinders and mechanical functions with industrial trucks). Maintain production equipment (machines, welders, presses, and paint booth). Work with purchasing to order correct parts for needed repairs. Record and file maintenance forms and records for equipment. Building repair. Storage yard maintenance. Snow removal including driving lanes and sidewalks.Must be organized, detail orientated and able to work in a team atmosphere.
