Machine Services Technician – $5,000 Hiring BonusJob Code:2020-MACHININ-002 Cost Center:93-Machining Services Location:Nebraska Status:Regular Full TimeOverview:We are looking for a highly skilled individual to provide quality and efficient maintenance support in all aspects of the feedlot. This welder position is located at our South Feedlot in Broken Bow, Nebraska.Job Responsibilities:This person will be responsible for:* Ensuring safety is a priority for one’s self, as well as all employees.* Supporting the Adams Land & Cattle Safety Program and exemplifying safety expectations.* Repairing and maintaining feedlot facilities and equipment, including but not limited to processing barns, mobile vet units, feed mill, equipment, water, power, and sprinklers.* Welding (MIG and arc) to complete repairs and new fabrication.* Machining parts that are used throughout the feedlot operation.* Maintaining welding/machining equipment in a good state of repair.* Repairing/maintaining hydraulic, plumbing, and water systems.* Completing electrical, carpentry, concrete, and/or fencing work in support of feedlot operations.* Supporting the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of the feedlot sprinkler system.* Completing priority projects by target due dates.* Completing quality work, right the first time.* Supporting workplace organizational efforts.Job Qualifications:Ideal candidate would possess the following skill set and experience:* Welding and/or machining skills.* Experience with mechanical applications.* Excellent verbal communication.* High attention to detail.* Commitment to safety and quality culture.* Individual must be team-oriented.* Any electrical, hydraulic, and water systems experience is helpful.Other Job Information:This position requires:* Exerting 50-100 pounds of force occasionally; 25-50 pounds of force frequently; 10-20 pounds of force constantly. Standing, sitting, walking, carrying, and lifting/lowering frequently; pushing/pulling, bending, twisting, climbing, reaching/handling/grasping, and kneeling/crouching occasionally; crawling and stairs rarely.Eligible for up to a $5,000 Hiring + Relocation Bonus
