This is a full-time, temp-to hire position.
Work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Job Description: Set up and run equipment Collect data Break down and clean equipment Prepare or assist in the preparation of laboratory batches Perform physical testing of intermediate and finished products as needed Work independently, supervised on a daily basis For those issues that cannot be resolved, bring to the attention of person coordinating work Agree to work schedules in order to ensure timely completion of the required activities Assist Oral Solid Operations Group in manufacturing of experimental and GMP batches as needed Maintain accurate inventory and tracking records of Oral Solids Formulation supplies and equipment Maintain equipment and rooms in a clean and orderly manner Set annual goals with supervisor to improve job and individual skills and abilities Comply with Health, Safety and Environmental responsibilities for the position Maintain current training records for required procedures Assist in the training, development and evaluation of any Oral Solid Formulation personnel when required Comply with departmental and Company policies Other tasks as assigned Job Requirements: Requirements: High School Degree or Equivalent (GED) plus experience as a Laboratory Technician Associate’s Degree is preferred Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the formulation and process development of oral solid dosage forms Must be flexible with respect to project priorities and ensure that site and/or departmental business objectives are met Working knowledge of general computer software such as word processing programs, e-mail programs and spreadsheet programs Working knowledge of pharmaceutical oral solid processing equipment such as balances, blenders, granulators, fluid-bed dryers, table presses, capsule fillers and /or tablet coaters Mathematical and reasoning ability Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form Ability to work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines Contact Information: CareersUSA
