Kennel Technician

Do you have a passion for Golden Retrievers? We are currently looking to add an individual that share our love for the breed to our team! The current opening is for an employee who can help maintain the day to day functions of our facility. This individual will be responsible for boarding/daycare dogs. Your responsibilities will include cleaning and maintaining kennels and yards, feeding and caring for the dogs, bathing dogs, and engaging in play activities and exercises with the dogs. This position is available as part-time, with the availability to become full-time to the right individual. The employee must be available to work holidays and most weekends. You will need to be punctual and have reliable transportation. We value and respect our clients and take pride in our work; and expect you to do the same.

Duties may include cleaning dog kennels; caring for animals including feeding, medicating, and bathing; taking boarding dogs out to the play yards and supervising play groups. Cleanliness is of utmost importance to us at our facility. This job will involve constant cleaning of messes and sanitizing the building and yards. The work that you will be doing is physically demanding and labor intensive. You will be on your feet for extended periods of time and will be dealing with large and strong dogs. Qualified applicants will be a team player, motivated, engaged, passionate, enthusiastic, dedicated, and able to keep up in a fast-paced environment. Kennel experience is preferred, but not required. Hourly pay ranges from $12-18 per hour.
