I.T. Help Desk Technician

Job Summary
The Information Technology Help Desk Technician is responsible for computer and network help desk ticket system issues, new user computer printer and phone setup, Tier 2 issues, and other projects as assigned by I.T management.

Job Description

• Provide quality help desk support
• Monitor ticket system and system que and resolve issues based on priority such as production down time or user not being able to do their job requests first.
• Maintain computer systems, wiring, software and hardware
• Create accounts and configure hardware as part of on-boarding process
• Perform computer system updates including hardware and software
• Maintain computer container in active directory in sync with our computer system structure
• Support audio and video equipment in conference rooms
• Manage and monitor internal assets to ensure accurate inventory records
• Monitor Antivirus Software
• Adheres to Quality policy by exceeding customer expectations, being customer focused and supporting continuous improvement activities
• Adheres to Safety policies and practices behavioral based safety 100% of the time
• Experience in Office 365, Windows 10 Suite and Server 2012R2 and above.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision
• Demonstrated ability to balance multiple priorities
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of all information internal department and external
• Excellent Oral & written communication skills
• A+ or advanced computer certification
• Two- or four-year degree in computer science (preferred)
• One or more years of work experience in an IT support role (required)
