Industrial Hygiene Technician

This is a Contract position in Denver, CO posted August 30, 2021.

We recruit top talent and are currently seeking a full-time Industrial Hygiene Technician to join our team in Knoxville, Tennessee.

Relocation assistance is available for candidates that hold required TN Certifications.

S is offering a $500 sign-on bonus for this position.

Starting pay for the position is between $25/hr
– $32/hr based on experience and certifications.

S also provides a company truck to commute to project sites and for other work-related activities.

The successful candidate will work under the supervision of Certified Industrial Hygienists, Licensed Engineers and Geologists.

The individual will be responsible for performance of industrial hygiene projects including asbestos surveys, hazardous building materials sampling, conducting site inspections/surveys, mold inspection and testing, and data reduction.

The candidate should be willing to acquire their Tennessee Asbestos Project Monitor Certification and Lead Risk Inspector Certification.

Qualified candidates must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong work ethic, and possess the ability to work on a team with a commitment to meeting deadlines and budgets.

Periodic overnight travel will be required on a project by project basis.

Qualifications:AS or BS degree in industrial hygiene, engineering, geology, or related sciences preferred;Two years relevant experience;Experience conducting hazardous building materials sampling;OSHA 1910.120 40-Hour HAZWOPER Training;Tennessee Asbestos Inspector Certification; Excellent computer skills; Preferred Qualifications:Tennessee Asbestos Project Monitor Certification; Lead Risk Inspector Certification.

This is a full-time position with competitive pay based on experience.

Successful candidate must meet requirements of the company’s Fleet Management Program, Substance Policy and Reference check program.
