Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for a Help Desk Technician to join our client in Bloomfield, CT.

The Help Desk Technician is an entry level position that earns between $15 to $17/hour.

The Help Desk Technician will be responsible for working with technicians onsite to resolve issues, as well as serving as the first point of contact for customers seeking technical assistance over the phone or email.

Help Desk Technician Pay, Schedule, and Location
Starting at $15 to $17/hour, paid weekly
1st shift schedule, hiring immediately
Located in Bloomfield, CT
Help Desk Technician Duties and Responsibilities
Guide callers through troubleshooting and/or using the products or services
Collaborate with coworkers to improve customer service
Perform remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions
Determine the best solution based on the issue and details provided by customers
Provide accurate information on IT products or services
Record events and problems and their closeout notes
Follow-up and update customer status and information regarding next steps or tracking for replacement parts
Pass on any feedback or suggestions by customers to the appropriate internal team
Identify and suggest possible improvements on procedures
Help Desk Technician Requirements and Qualifications
Able to communicate clearly and effectively with clients
Excellent critical thinking skills
Basic understanding of computers and networked devices
At least one year of customer service and/or helpdesk support
1 year helpdesk support is preferred
