Plumbing Technician/Journeyman PlumberThe ideal candidate for the Plumbing Technician position will have a valid Georgia Journeyman or Master Plumber’s license, but NOT required.Essential Responsibilities of Plumbing Technician CandidatesAbility to determine and clearly identify proper materials and material quantities for new and existing repair projectsAssembles and installs valves, pipe fittings, and pipes; joins pipes, installs and repairs plumbing fixtures such as sinks, commodes, and water heatersInstall underground storm, sanitary and water piping systems and extend piping to connect fixtures and plumbing to these systemsDiagnose and analyze causes of plumbing problemsRespond to emergency plumbing calls such as clogged drains, broken water lines, and frozen pipesEvaluate situation and take corrective actionKnowledge of State and Local codes and regulationsTwo years of residential experienceValid Georgia driver’s licensePlumber’s HelperEssential Responsibilities of Plumber’s Helper CandidatesKeeps plumbing equipment and tools operational and in good working orderConserves plumbing resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job resultsMaintains plumbing supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level.Provides plumbing information by answering questions and requestsMaintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulationsAbility to follow direction to complete specific tasksContributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as neededValid Georgia driver’s license****We Offer Sign on Bonus for a Licensed Master Plumber****Job Type: Full-timeExperience:residential: 2 years (Required)Education:High school or equivalent (Required)License:Georgia Journeyman or Master Plumber’s (Required)Language:english (Required)
