# Summary:

Then you may be the mechanic/service tech that we are looking for.
The mechanic/service tech.
position is responsible for testing, diagnosing and maintaining a fleet of automotive and medium sized engines.
Knowledge of hydraulic systems is a plus.
Participates in the highest level of safe and productive performance of their duties.
This position also performs all other responsibilities as directed by the business or as assigned by the ETC Manager.
This is a non-exempt position and reports to the ETC Manager.
# Essential Functions:
Perform PM maintenance on GSE (Ground Service Equipment) and fleet vehicles.
Diagnosis and repair, or suggest next steps for outside repair of all fleet vehicles and GSE equipment.
# Minimum Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Work Environment:
· Demonstrated mechanic general knowledge and experience in repairing automotive and medium engines.
· Requires a High School diploma or equivalent (GED).
· Must be able to pass a Federal background check.
· Must be at least 18 years old.
· Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
· Minimum tool requirements for job responsibilities.
· Electronic diagnostic skills.
· Positive attitude.
· Quality workmanship.
· Must be able to work with a partner.
· Must look for ways to improve and promote quality of service.
· Must apply feedback to improve performance.
· Must observe safety and security procedures.
· Report potentially unsafe conditions and use equipment and materials properly.
· Must be consistently able to report to work on time.
· Must be able to work effectively with a minimum of supervision or support.
· Must be fluent in speaking, reading, and writing English.
· Position requires a valid Driver’s License and an acceptable driving record for the past three (3) years to be eligible under company vehicle insurance policy.
Valid driver’s license defined by the following: No DUI, DWI, reckless or negligent driving within the last five years, no suspensions, terminations or revocations in the last five years, and no more than three moving violations in the last two years.
· Knowledge of maintenance of industrial equipment and previous experience preferred.
