Summary

Revolution Technologies is looking for a Greenhouse Technician for our industry-leading client! Launch your career to the next level. We are seeking a technician with extensive experience working with wheat or other plants in a greenhouse/growth chamber (GH/GC) setting.

Key Skills and Experience Required

· Bachelor’s degree in Horticulture, Plant Biology, Plant Molecular Biology or other related fields with laboratory experience.

· Hands-on experience with greenhouse/growth chamber plant care.

· Familiarity with Plant physiology, biotechnology, molecular biology, and genomics.

· Computer proficiency, particularly with Microsoft Office, Excel, database, data analysis software, and basic bioinformatics tools.

· Attention to detail, strong experimental design, data analysis, and interpretation skills, strong ability to work in a team setting, and strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

· Wheat research experience is a plus.

Job Description

· The day-to-day in this role is manual labor including watering plants, cleaning growth chambers, carrying out treatments whether physical treatment or chemical, making fertilizer, handling pollination, and taking notes on the progress of the plants. data recording, entering, error checks, and analysis.

· The candidate also has room to grow and gain more research experience and share possible ideas for experimentation.
