Field Service Technician

Seeking Service Technician.

We are currently looking for a qualified candidate to fill our maintenance technician position. Our ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic with mechanical knowledge and is familiar with the construction industry on the east end of long Island. Must maintain a professional appearance with the ability to provide excellent customer service, attention to details, solid communication skills and the ability to work with a team and possibly grow into a team leader.

Job duties may include but not limited to:
Must be able to able to read and write reports regarding preventative maintenance
Proper and safe handling of hand and power3 tools
The ability to perform general maintenance and repairs
Must be able to recognize possible safety concerns and necessary repairs.
Knowledge of basic electrical systems and components
Knowledge of basic plumbing elements and systems.
Knowledge of basic HVAC systems and operations
The ability to perform minor drywall repairs including spackle and paint.
Knowledge of general construction practices and procedures
Current and valid driver’s license
Excellent troubleshooting, analytical and problem solving skills
Carpentry skills and knowledge.
The ability to run one or more small job sites simultaneously.
The ability to coordinate subcontractors.
The ability to deliver a project on time and on budget.
