Duties and other requirements:
Backbone Fiber Technicians and Cable Installers will have the ability to complete the following fiber optic functions: cable prep, case prep, splicing using various techniques, fiber handling, cable installation, auditing, testing, reporting, troubleshooting and ability to read and understand splice diagrams.
Clean up, organizing tools, equipment care, driving trucks with trailers, and maintaining a safe work site
Great attitude, timely, reliable, takes initiative, great work ethic, willing to take direction and learn, communication skills (written and oral), team player, problem solving capabilities.

Physical requirements:
Able to perform the physical, mental, and environmental requirements of the job’s essential functions:
Standing for long periods
Walking on uneven terrain and long distances
Crouching
Outdoor work in the elements
Lifting up to 100lbs

Other Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent
Valid Driver’s License
