Many more perks! Position Summary: Under the supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor, perform routine and preventive maintenance and repair procedures on buildings and mechanical equipment. Major Duties and Responsibilities: -Perform preventative maintenance on building and mechanical equipment on a scheduled basis. —-Inspect and change drive belts, replace faucets, AC filters, repair or replace toilets, garbage disposals, drain and waste pipes. Unclog drains with a hand held auger or mechanical snake. -Troubleshoot basic electrical wiring, fixtures, switches, outlets, able to read and use a voltage meter. -Replace and repairs doors, door locks, and closets. -Completes daily, weekly, and monthly checklists on building equipment maintenance procedures and maintains records of scheduled maintenance procedures. Knowledge and Skills: -Knowledge of the standard practices of building and equipment maintenance. -Skill in the use and care of equipment and tools. -Ability to read, understand, follow and enforce safety procedures -Organized, able to multi-task, think creatively and adapt to different situations. Education and Experience: -Required – high school diploma or GED equivalent -One year of experience in building and mechanical equipment maintenance and repair -Has previous work experience in the use of hand and power tools Please Be Advised: Background checks, reference checks, TB testing, and drug screenings are part of the hiring process at Royal Oaks.
