Responsible for providing preventative maintenance including a safe and sanitary work environment to the plant and surrounding grounds. While performing the duties of this job, employee will occasionally be exposed to wet and /or humid conditions. Will be exposed to moving mechanical parts; toxic or caustic chemicals. The noise level in this work environment is usually loud.Duties* Assess maintenance and repair problems with follow-up*Perform minor plumbing and electrical work and repair when breakdown occurs*Learn set-up, operation, adjustments and operating parameters of production equipment*Develop open communication with machine operators, department supervisors and managers*Paint any necessary areas, as needed*Work on new installation projects*Perform a daily walk-through as assigned to spot possible problems or issues*Remedy any unsafe conditions ASAP*Perform other duties as assignedQualifications-Must be 18 years of age due to working environment Must be able to work flexible hours as scheduled-Must be able to lift 30-75lbs as needed Must have valid documents for employment Must have Driver’s License and reliable transportation to and from Westport, WA-Two years related experience/training-Prior forklift certification preferred About Express Employment Professionals:Express can help you find the type of job that is a perfect fit for your needs and abilities, and you”ll never pay a fee for our services and support.
