Estate Facilities’ Maintenance Technician

This is a Contract position in Glenbrook, NV posted November 5, 2021.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Repairs/maintenance of walls, floors, ceiling components, doors and other fixtures
  • Paints and touches up paint
  • Cleans and maintains properties’ landscaping in conjunction with outside contractor
  • Inspects exterior building and roof, doing minor repairs
  • Properly installs signs, sign holders and dispensers and maintains such items
  • Inspects and periodically replaces all dust filters in the air handling units
  • Inspects and maintains equipment and recommends service by outside contractor when necessary.
  • Responds to repair requests in a timely manner and completes damage reports as observed during maintenance and daily activities
  • Makes timely recommendations for equipment upgrades, modifications, and repairs not within the scope of the above listed items or not within the scope of the individual’s capabilities
  • Monitors equipment to ensure proper operation and calibration
  • Complete assigned work orders requested
  • Maintains safe work environment
  • Uses appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required for each particular task; be safety conscious for themselves and people around them

Qualifications * High School education (HS Diploma or GED preferred)

  • Experience in a building maintenance/construction environment (preferred)
  • Able to read, write, and speak in English (preferred)
  • Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages, rounding)
  • Organized and detail oriented
  • Effective problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Ability to maintain a positive, professional, cooperative demeanor
  • Ability to foster productive working relationship with management, coworkers and vendors
  • Ability to interpret, comply with, and support Company policies, procedures, work rules, and protocols
  • Knowledge of products use and specifications
  • Ability to adapt effectively to workplace changes and new job duties/responsibilities
  • Ability to represent the Company in a positive and professional manner at all times

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $60,000.00 per year

Education:

  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Construction or Facility Maintenance: 3 years (Required)
  • Mechanical knowledge: 3 years (Preferred)

Willingness to travel:

  • 25% (Preferred)
