We strive to bring together a diverse team of talented, passionate, multidisciplinary experts to deliver integrated project services and provide innovative solutions for our clients.As an Environmental Field Technician with CEC, you’ll travel to various landfill sites to monitor the performance of the landfill gas collection system and liquids management systems to ensure compliance with State and Federal standards.

You will collect routine data for interpretation by project managers and you will be expected to make adjustments as needed to maximize performance of existing systems or assist with making recommendations for improvements.

You’ll be part of a cohesive project team that is responsible for providing comprehensive recommendations to our clients and will be expected to keep well-organized data for inclusion in monthly reports.Qualifications:1 years’ experience in environmental systems monitoring, operation and maintenance (landfill gas systems experience is preferred);Mechanical skills ranging from plumbing and pipe fitting to basic electrical; use of hand tools is a must;Valid driver’s license and ability to drive a pickup truck;Familiarity with EPA and/or local Air District rules and regulations;Proficient in use of environmental meters such as FIDs and Gas Analyzers;Experienced with basic Word and Excel software programsAbout Us:Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc.
