The positions will involve long-term assignments in fire-impacted areas of the west or frequent travel.
Successful candidates will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of environmental scientists as well as accomplished engineers to restore fire-damaged infrastructure, habitat, and recreational facilities.
Candidates should have an aptitude and interest in restoration, stormwater quality, erosion control, environmental resources or outdoor recreation facilities.

A minimum of two years of undergraduate coursework in related fields is desired and bachelor’s degree preferred.Responsibilities and desired skillsets include, but are not limited to the following:Typical Responsibilities / Work EffortsField data collectionPreparation of graphics, figures, and basic engineering and scientific calculationsBasic design efforts working under the direction of more senior staffTechnical Proficiency / Desired SkillsetsAutoCADMicrosoft: Word, Excel, ProjectGIS Mapping SoftwareThis position is targeted to individuals with training in Civil Engineering, Water Resources, and Environmental Engineering/Science or equivalent experience.Must be reliable, responsible, and a team player.Must be able to communicate effectively with task and project leaders.Must be organized and able to keep accurate notes.Must be able to read maps, follow directions, and adhere to safety protocols.Must be willing and physically able to work outside in rugged terrain and around streams, rivers and wetlands.Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
