A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN ELECTRONIC SYSTEMS TECHNICIAN

In this tech position, you work hands-on to complete electronics systems work orders on time and efficiently.

Each day you load the van up and travel to the customer’s house or place of business to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain their existing electronics systems.

As needed, you suggest areas for new installation and communicate the sales details to the operations team.

You confirm project specifications and plan field installations, adhering to a strict project schedule.

After new installs, you test systems, instruct the clients on how to use their new smart technology, complete job reports, and perform job site clean-up.

You also record and maintain inventory as well as keep your work vehicle clean.

ELECTRONIC SYSTEMS TECHNICIAN QUALIFICATIONS
Technical skills
Experience with security, building, or home automation
I.P networking and/or audiovisual experience
Knowledge of low voltage cable, connectors, and termination techniques
Able to read blueprints
Security and WIFI experience plus the ability to read schematics is preferred!
