Responsibilities

Position Purpose:

Build and assemble projects based on customer specifications utilizing wiring diagrams, schematics, work orders and pictures provided. Provide quality workmanship as well as meet the production schedule for all projects.

 Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assemble projects to the customer’s specifications.
• Assist the production team with various phases of assemblies.
• Produce a turnkey project from start to finish with direction provided by the Production Manager.

Additional Requirements:

• No vision hindrances in relation to color (not color-blind)
• Ability to read/learn various manufacturing drawing types. Ie. Schematics, layouts, diagrams, etc.
• Ability to approach people to ask questions.
• Effectively respond to and interact with all levels of organization staff and vendors. Competencies include excellent organizational, analytical, interpersonal and written/oral communication skills.
• Define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
• Efficient use of hand tools
• Understanding and basic knowledge of wiring diagrams and electrical schematics

Qualifications

Education/Experience:

• 1-3 years experience working in a similar role
• High-school education or equivalent

OR

• Equivalent combination of Education and Experience

Recommended Experience:

• Eclipse knowledge
• Basic Electrical/ Mechanical theory knowledge
• Use of Hand Tools and Electrical DVM
• IPC/WHMA-A-620 Certification
• Microsoft Excel basic knowledge
• Able to communicate across operations and sales.
• Manage small projects and or teams to complete tasks

Environment

• Workload and job requirements will vary based upon RFI/RFP opportunities and deadlines. Position will require flexibility based upon schedule demands
• Position will be based in La Porte branch and will work closely with Director of Strategic Accounts, along with Crawford Branch Managers and Sales Representatives
• Position will require a well-organized individual with high analytical skills and the ability to document and produce best-practices for procedures
• Ability to understand client needs and translate these needs into usable data/reports is a must
• Ability to self-manage responsibilities with minimal supervision is required
• Some light travel may be involved in the on-boarding process of new clients
