Job AccountabilitiesPRIMARY FUNCTIONS INCLUDE:The Maintainer Trainee will be responsible for setting up, adjust, repair, overhaul, perform PM’s (preventive maintenances), ESEs (quality adjustment checks), and evaluate seamless can line equipment as required to maintain standard quality and quantity production.Has primary responsibility for safe mechanical performance of line and standard production output.Disassemble, replace, reassemble, inspect, and maintain assigned machinery and equipment as required.Measure and record all can dimensions against specifications. Maintain records of production, quality and other related records as directed.Troubleshoot mechanical issues; perform mechanical repairs and maintenance for production equipment.Has primary responsibility for safety for all areas of assigned duties.This position is in the training program. The successful candidate will be required to complete a 6,000-hour training program to be fully qualified as a Maintainer. Here is your chance for a great opportunity to join the Crown Beverage Division for your future career.Job RequirementsMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalencyMechanical experiences working in a manufacturing setting or familiarity with power and hand tools are a plus.Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.Must possess basic math skills.Must be able to stand for long periods as well as work on elevated stationary platforms and withstand extreme climate changes especially during summer and winter months.Demonstrated strong attention to detail, good record keeping and precision abilities is highly desirable.Ability to work under time pressures and flexibility to adjust to sudden work patterns or schedules.Ability to work independently and with teams and must have good interpersonal skills.Must be able to work 12-hour shifts, evenings, weekends, and overtime as business needs dictate.Fully comply with all OSHA and WISHA safety rules and regulations.This position requires union membership after 30 days of hire Travel0 10%Crown is an equal opportunity employer.
