Position Summary: This position will support the maintenance team in various duties. This will include purchasing, management of purchase orders for department expenses and capital appropriation, organizing inventory, managing maintenance work order system, managing inventory, assisting Maintenance Supervisor with work scheduling and interacting with vendors. This position will report directly to the Engineering Manager.Specific Responsibilities:Capital and Expense purchasing for Maintenance DepartmentSupport purchasing for other departments as neededManage Maintenance Work order SystemAssist Maintenance Supervisor in maintaining parts inventoriesAssist Maintenance supervisor in scheduling maintenance workWork with outside vendors to procure quotes and schedule workDepartment documentationUse of full Microsoft suite as neededKnowledge of Oracle ERP, ReqLogic ERP and MP2 Maintenance System preferredKnowledge of 5S and Kanban systems preferredOther duties as assignedEducation/ Experience:High School Diploma required. Continuing education or technical training preferred. Experience with computers including full Microsoft suite and Oracle ERP preferred. Excellent organizational skills required. Exposure or experience with 5S and Kanban or similar manufacturing systems. Previous experience related to a maintenance role is preferredPhysical Requirements: Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl and climb if necessary.Ability to pick up 40lbsSpend extended periods on production floor and maintenance storage areas
