Holiday Healthcare is a family-oriented, privately owned company located on the North Side of Evansville.
We are a diverse health services company made up of a nursing home, retirement community, and a professional office.
We are actively seeking an entry-level IT support tech to assist with installing/upgrading components, provisioning software, assisting with systems administration duties, end user education, and resolving all IT support issues.
Our ideal candidate is personable, has tier 1 experience, and is willing to learn Tier 2 responsibilities.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
Associates Degree in Information Technology or related field
Professional IT certifications are preferred
Must have advanced knowledge about hardware and software configuration
Must be able to effectively prioritize time and job responsibilities
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS OF POSITION:
3 years in IT Support position or related role
Strong analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills
Good communication ability, both written and verbal
Personable, professional demeanor
PHYSICAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be able to successfully complete a drug screen, a TB, and an employment physical.
Must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time while working on a computer.
Must be able to carry up to 50 pounds at times.
Must be able to walk/commute between all buildings located on the Holiday Health Care campus.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensure that all computer hardware and software, as well as networks and servers, work consistently and correctly.
Will install programs, new software, and hardware, and will configure networks and servers.
Manage on going information security, network, and server maintenance.
Ensure data repositories are safe and secure.
Educate all end users about network security and best practices.
Provide ongoing support and assistance to end users.
Escalate issues, as needed, in a timely manor.
Performs other duties deemed necessary by supervisor.
