Job Summary: We are looking for a Computer and Information System Technician to join our team.

The Computer and Information System Technician is responsible for maintain and even develop software for our company, making sure our networks and related systems are designed and operated properly, and errors are fixed without any interruption to our mission.

Responsibilities: Maintain the computer networks of our organization, providing technical support and ensuring the whole company runs smoothly.

Identify the causes of networking problems, using diagnostic testing software and equipment.

Document network support activities.

Install network software, including security or firewall software.

Troubleshoot network or connectivity problems for users or user groups.

Provide support related to networking or connectivity issues.

Analyze information to determine, recommend, and plan installation of a new system or modification of an existing system.

Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints.

Collaborate with data processing or project managers to obtain information on limitations or capabilities for data processing projects.

Collaborate with systems analysts, engineers, and others to design systems and to obtain information on project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements and interfaces.

Consult with customers or other departments on project status, proposals, or technical issues, such as software system design or maintenance.

Qualifications: A bachelor’s degree in computer science or related technology field is preferred.

Prior experience in tech support, desktop support, or a similar role.

Comfortable working in and assisting others.

Time-management skills and the ability to establish reasonable and attainable deadlines for resolution.

Attention to detail and good problem-solving skills.

Good written and verbal communication.

Bilingual, fluent in English and Spanish, preferred.

Schedule: 8 hours shift.

Day shift.

Monday to Friday.
